Stereographs tryout #2 - the japan trip.

Still contemplating on whether to do a post on Japan,

but with so many things to do and complications,

These stereographs will have to do for the time being.

Everything screwed up after this shot, the shots

were all paired up wrongly haha.

The camera tends to crop off either side of the frame,

so compositing with the landscape viewfinder is a hard task.

I think my mind’s still in Japan. I walk into convenience stores here

and expect to see a huge collection of onigiris, drinks, mags, random

electronics, gatsby wax, cooked food, packed bentos all neatly arranged

selling pokka tea.

Finally got my first roll of photos from my Holga 135 TIM;

and i must say, it was a disaster haha.
I totally shot most of the photos wrongly
so they don't look stereographic-ish. Instead,
the look like 2frame timelapses.
Here are the rest of the failed attempts:

O well, it was a fun first attempt though haha,
hope y'all haven't gotten the seizures yet.
Will try another roll at fishing this weekend =)

Hong Kong's still the same as it was 2 years ago,
but this time the air is really quite smoggy and due to inflation,
food prices are up quite abit- but I guess thats a norm for everywhere
else in the world.

Despite the weather, the frequent dripping of air-con water on us
as we walked through the streets and gloomy lighting throughout the trip,
I still like hk, for their superb culinary skills, milk tea,
shops and people who can be really witty if you try to bargain too much.

While we were there in the crowded Causeway Bay area,
construction for new skyscrapers and buildings were being carried out in many areas.
These sky scrappers mirrored the old classic residential buildings.

We can see this happening too in their transportation
where trams run along side modern day buses.

A seamless cooperation between
modern and traditional modes.

One thing I noticed about the shops in hk was that,

many of the shops that sold clothes, random stuff and lomo thingys
are started by young adults around their early 20s to 30s.

My rents and I managed to talk to a few of the people
that had their own stores. A lady who owned a Holga store-
where I bought my Holga 135tim (it shoots *stereo-graphs! or works like a golden-half),
she just started her store and had a whole collection of holgas for sale,
her own newsletter/flyer thing and photographs all around the store.

I guess for me, its quite encouraging to see them try so hard.

There are a large number of older people in HK too,
most of the more elderly people hang around in
public parks that could be set beside tall buildings right
smack in the centre of town. Whereas the not so old, are
still working hard - cooking their superb 'michelin-star' dishes
or being masters of their trades.

The next time I goto HK for a good few days, would be to explore
the outskirts and secluded areas.. well as far as the MTR can take me to.

Another thing I noticed that was consistent with my previous visit to hk
was that they had quite a number of Christian signs and banners around the city,
This one in particular, was a normal housing flat but according to my
sister-in-law's cousin, whom we met there, a christian group would
probably be using one of the floors for worship services and thus
were allowed to place the huge sign on top of the entire building. cool eh?

There are 6,977,700 people present in HK

This time, we (my rents and I) managed to visit the Hong Kong Museum of Art.

On the outside, it looks really plain normal- but on the inside, there wereso many interesting pieces of art ranging from paintings to contemporary installations.It was quite an eye-opener, some works really got me inspired.

Some were very quirky and ingenious,
for example the video installation,"Stolen Time" by Silas Fong
Where a video camera was placed at a certain floor in a building, in front of
the lift- and he presses the lift button but doesn't take the lift, instead he
just leaves the video camera there to record their puzzled reactions.
Thus, the title, stolen time, since he is 'stealing' a part of their time.
As a compilation it was quite interesting
to see how people reacted to this simple 'test',
as it has happened to all of us before.

My rents liked the olden paintings of Wu Guanzhong,
who was a painter ahead of his time (Wu was born in 1919).
He reminded me of the Impressionists.

All in all, it was a good getaway, my rents didn't really like the place
haha, guess it was too crowded etc. But my job as a tour guide is done!

Eskimo Tea

lijia, dan and I made a trip to raffles place/ cbd area to check out

the famous eskimo tea, that's been talked about.
Apparently it's better than Koi milk teas but , haven't
tried koi. Located just at the edge of Golden Shoe Car Park
amongst a cool number of new cafes (new to me as its been
a uber long time since I've been to the CBD area).

The prices of their teas are similar to the original Quickly prices,

Quickly was a darn gd bubble tea store- started it all in Singapore
10years ago but it kinda died in sg.
Prices range from $2.40 onwards

You have a choice of 'siu tais' , amount of
sugar you want them to put into your cuppa tea-
we took the 70% one.

The inside of the store is quite similar to standard
bubble tea stores, but they have this machine that
shakes the mixture of tea to make
it 'bubble' .: bubbletea-hurhur,
automatically.

We picked the XL size, and small pearls.

The tea tasted quite good!

As dan said, the tea taste was more prominent

as compared to other bubble teas we've had.

Only problem we all have was.. the size and amount of the pearls.

Too tiny for our teeth to chew on and too darn many.

I had to spit out quite alot of pearls,
my my, reminded me of a sea of frog eggs.

Anyways, its not too shabby, the tea's great so if u're in the

vicinity, do give it a try!

Couldn't bear staying at home, so I crossed the street
to the coffee shop for some good ol'
Teh O ping - I can safely say that this indian
guy makes the best tea in my neck of the
woods. Journeyed along the same ol' central area
and got a plain waffle - old skool waffles
we used to eat in secondary school. And headed
out to the outskirts of bukit batok west.
I have often drove past this place and always wanted to stop to
take photos but, the road leads to a highway and is quite busy so
walking is the only way I guess.
Found this small, under appreciated piece of land with
'xiao gui lin' kinda rocks littered all over, some sparse trees
some large planks of wood left over, a path of gravel that's been carved out
from the people constantly taking a shortcut through here to the near by bus stop.
well theres nothing much crazy surprising stuff but,
its just a nice simple view of nature and modern buildings
in the background -in one scene.

We've extinguished our list of
places to explore here on this island;
Discovery is so limited here.
At the 1/4 mark of our life expectancy,
we've visited all the tourist places available to us.

Old buildings that mean nothing to urban developers
get labelled as haunted and are torn down in an instant.

We don't lack places/things to explore,
but we lack places of character, uniqueness, meaning that last.
Something new always comes up- thats the way life on earth goes.

I wouldn't say this place is a bad place to live in,
we're sheltered - maybe sometimes too much,

everything's in between.
To a certain extent, we're in a place that 'Stifles' dreams.

But in the end, we're born here, we might want to
migrate, get out of this darn place but the people,
the situations, the circumstances and our lack of ability
to give up things hold us back.

So, I guess we , or I rather, have to just work with what I have.
The grass is always greener on the other side.

Sylvia&Andrew's Wedding

Just last week, our very own classmate/schoolmate/primaryschoolmate,
Sylvia, had her wedding!
Andrew and her had their wedding at the catholic church, St.Mary of the Angels
just around the corner from my place.
Quite a cool serene decor all through the building-
good place for chilling lol, but on the inside I was quite
shocked to see such a huge sculpture of Jesus hanging
there.. was quite scary, looks like an installation art.

Anyways it was a pretty short and sweet wedding,
the congregation sang a few of their hymns..etc.
The fact that a fellow friend at my age has

just gotten married still hasn't sunk in yet, it feels kinda surreal..
how we have gotten so old already!

I remember borrowing the digital camera on
the last day of primary school to take some photos of classmates
- the digicams used diskettes back in the day - so i dug up the arhive
and found these;

- in primary 6 lol.

busy peasy

Just taking a little break after working for hours

on my final photo project- gonna do a photobook

on jurong fishery (the pic on top is one of em'), hope it works.
After this fishy project,
3 more projects to finish right after
2 papers on weds, phew.

First year in ADM finishing soon, gonna miss my old class
as we move on to do our majors next year in new classes,
haha its the knowledge of not knowing what's around the bend
that makes it interesting.

Collateral Murder

WikiLeaks has released a classified US military video
depicting the indiscriminate slaying of over a dozen people
in the Iraqi suburb of New Baghdad --
including two Reuters news staff.

Reuters has been trying to obtain the video through the
Freedom of Information Act,
without success since the time of the attack.
The video, shot from an Apache helicopter gun-site,
clearly shows the unprovoked slaying of a wounded
Reuters employee and his rescuers.
Two young children involved in the
rescue were also seriously wounded.

Photographer's camera mistaken as a weapon.
In this particular case, some of the people killed
were journalists that were simply doing their jobs:
putting their lives at risk in order to report on war.
Iraq is a very dangerous place for journalists:
from 2003- 2009, 139 journalists were
killed while doing their work.

a lil' update,
I've successfully moved to the new house at bb,
But, all my things are in boxes and I've been living out of boxes for
quite a few days haha. the floor's dusty, the cupboard doesn't have doors,
my other furniture is not in and I can't find most of my school work.
There is no internet nor televi as m1 broadband (we just signed up today)
takes a week to activate, sooo i'm using my iphone.
On the other hand, I kinda like the environment here,
its quieter than i expected, similar to my previous home =)
Lotsa birds though, and the insects at night are similar to
the ones back at toh tuck haha- so its kinda normal for us.
Good thing is, the sun doesn't burn up my room in the afternoons.
Thank God for the timings- even though some things have been
delayed, i guess in the end it'll all work out.
Photos (probably haha) will be up soon, been taking
more photos of the old house rather than the new- kinda
miss it already =S

Enjoyable days of Chinese New Year

Chinese new year this year was quite nice for me,
being 23 this year, the joys of cny, like how I used to feel when
I were a kid - eating all the goodies, playing sega or going to the
playground to play with my cousin- would be the same, but
doing very different things.

The things that make up my 1st day of cny would be...

1) A small family reunion lunch + dinner-
most of my relatives are in malaysia

2) Watching random dvds at my granny's place
after lunch

3) Trying to do work there but failing to do so
and deciding that my dad, my cousin and I should
go for a photo-trip somewhere (we went to punggol beach last year)

4) Coming back for some slacky resting time and then dinner.

and i love the whole itinerary.

This time round for our photo-trip, I brought
my dad and my cousin to the Arab St. area
(including the 'secret place', 1st photo at the top);

I spent the morning going to the cemetry
with my rents to visit grandma, grandpas and jie

Then visited charle's ah ma's house with mg and dan- think

Traveled to Orchard for dinner and some quiet shopping.
Lotsa shops were closed, so we ended up going around
313 to find clothes- i wanted to get a pair of uniqlo jeans,
sam wanted to get a shirt, we forced him to get a pair of new jeans.

Me is liking leather jacket,
but the weather doesn't agree with me.Visiting joelyn's new home- i can't
wait to move yippie~

Quite sad to see Sarah leaving again,

to Curtin for photography but I guess God worked
things out nicely and saved my parents money-
I'm quite happy with ntu.

I guess when the older ones tell us
studying life is one of the best times
we'll have- its quite true.

start working.

That's what the older people around told me when
they found out I'm gonna study photography.
The younger people (not all), were skeptical, which

want to let my parents' efforts/support/love go to waste.

Food Tasting at Goodwood Park HotelSome photos at the food tasting for
my bro and lisa's wedding dinner this weds.Felt like some food critic during
the whole session hahaha,
but it was cool- instead of yam paste, we'll
be having mango cream sago thingy,
break the tradition man.
Christmas decor's still up,
Christmas kinda came and went so fast.
It felt quite uneventful this year, well maybe
cause I didn't get to go for the party =(
o well, new year's day felt uneventful too haha.O well, but certain things did happen on new year's
day, it was like a big test for me, never prayed so quickly

forever friends

Had the opportunity to meet my poly classmates for a lil' class gathering /
Christmasgift exchange / chillax catching up session last week.
Ahahh no one's changed, we've all gone our separate ways;
some studying in s.i.m & egg story, some working,
one a policeman (ivan ahhaha), one a regular (gq), some slacking,
but no matter what path we take, i'm glad we still
manage to meet up once in awhile
and share many many funny stories.
"so watcha up to now?"
Its becoming an annually thing,
that's not too often but at least it happens.

I should organize more outings haha.

Dwelling on the 'going our own paths' situation,
I guess the fairfield gang's gonna feel it soon..
especially with Sarah going back to aussie soon =(
Lijia thinking bout studying in aussie
and mg starting to work next year.
Oh and Sylvia's already getting

things have really sped up.

I guess we'll eventually have to grow up,
but a part of me still

Little towns of Malaysia

from Kuala Pilah to Jasin (Melaka)
My grandma's 90th birthday was a big event so my family
and I had to head down to Kuala Pilah, granny's home town,
for the celebration. Kuala whatta?
I've only been there once in my life,
1st time was my grandpa's funeral-
the 1st and last time i saw him,
so this was the 2nd time.

It was quite a superb distance away,
stop overs were quite bad coz the only food that was decent
was nasi lemak, and even for singapore standards, it was bad.
Hahah o well, but the scenary was surprisingly good/interesting.~
the very tiny town of Kuala Pilah1st thing we did when we reached town was to
check out the 'long house', a long shop house that
the family owns where quite a few relatives live in.
Uncles and aunties from KL were already there.whois this little boy! doesn't look familiar
really really really really really
old portraits and a mysterious little boy who followed
me and my bro around the houseafter asking my mom,
i realised that he was
my new little cute nephew!When we were having lunch,
he kept looking at my camera, then
he said some baby talk to me and
ran away- i thought he had gone somewhere
to play, but he soon came back with his baby chair
and sat beside me. hahaha, damn cute la.

Cantonese is the main language that's being
spoken in the family, so neither me nor my bro spoke
much, just a nod or two or simple replies.
I understand Cantonese but I dare not speak any,
cept to maybe my grandma in sg, my rents or aud hahaha!

After meeting up with the relatives -
so many familiar faces but with no names
in my head that matched the faces-
my dad, bro and i headed to the nearest
old school Coffee Shop for a some cha to yum.

The celebration was held at the "community centre",
no idea what they call it there but it definitely looks
like one, just a big hall- looked like a school hall.
My uncle assigned me to shoot photos for the night,
so with my inadequte skill with the flash i tried.
Won't bore you with the photos,
here's grandma, she's still cracking jokes at 90.I think this dish is like some tradition thing, the
last time we came, we had this during the dinner
at a restaurant.
Its basically 莲蓉包s lian rong baos
shaped like peaches or butts. The huge one in the middle...
consists of many tiny ones!
like micro machines.
i ate quite a few, they're really nice.

Lim Loke Guan Coffee Shop

My grand uncle brought us out for breakfast with my granny and
a few uncles at the classic Lim Loke Guan Coffee Shop.They were all gonna eat.. 水鱼.
No, not water fish.. say it in dialect and its
Turtle Soup.ZOMG!

My bro and I settled for wanton mee.

The chendol there was lagi best.

Lotsa animals around the town itself dead birds again, this is like the 3rd or 4th time
i'm seeing a dead bird.Kuala Pilah reminded me alot
of Tanjung Pinang, Indonesia,
1960s Singapore.

Soon it was time to hit the road again,
this time to Melaka to visit my granduncles in the
old folks home in Jasin.

I think the old folks home here is less depressing than Singapore ones.

Here, they grow their own crops for food and
have a pond for rearing fish too,
not to mention a great scenary.~
that's it folks, that concludes my
lil' 2day 1night trip to Malaysia

Appreciate the life here in sg, but we could really do
with some scenary and culture- ours is chapalang.

1st Semester's over for me, I kinda spoilt
my final project for my 2D module and am in
a very very sian mood, not concerned about the marks
but more concerned about the amount of thinner
i had to breathe in, the hours and money spent
on printing and designing in photoshop and
in the end, i wanted a nice crispy book for keepsake
but i guess shit happens huh.

Anyways my idea for the project was a travel log thing
which evolved into a book of thoughts and travel photos all
*thinner/toner-transferred onto a book that resembles a passport.
Then put the whole thing in a huge lomo lc-a camera.

*(print out photos on paper, pour some thinner on
the backside of the photo with the front of it placed
on top of the item you want to "transfer" the photo to.
Then rub the thinner like there's no tomorrow)

Here are some photos of what it look like;The lc-a box, took the blank template from the
lomography site, and redid everything because I
needed to print a bigger one- recoloured and layered in orange!the book, which was the crazy part

03 - Streets of New York(Shot this when we were above U.S soil,
apparently its some river, anyone knows which one?)
Finally continuing the U.S photo post, after a mere 13-hours
of flight, we reached the United States of America. Closer, closer~
People say that things in the U.S are larger,
the food servings etc.
They do have really huge things,
like their skyscrapers,
billboards,variety of news,jokers,
sculptures,canned drinks,
statements,trash,and m&m's.There are small things too! like...
this fella,
and patrol 'cars'.
I really thought that no one could be standing at that
area, hahahah - standing meant, stopping your vehicle.

Even in New York where people are so busy etc.
they will always be able to find some time to
chillax with the rolex
(i don't understand this either, my friend in class keeps repeating this)

Remember the classic sewage covers in ninja turtles
or the hollywood movies we watched
with steam flowing out of 'em ?

They do exist, and it ain't dry ice for sure.

Food stands selling lemonade, hotdog, fruits, pretzels and such
are strewn all along the streets. I notice that, majority of them are
owned by foreign people.

Broadway's McDonaldsOn the 2nd day, I was alone and had to meet my rents and bro,
so I had to catch a cab - sadly i didn't know how to whistle for one
so it took me awhile, and being a tourist, i over-tipped the man.Always wondered why its called the Big Apple.
Didn't have the time to go into Central Park
for a walk, but heres a sneak I took from
the Tour Bus.
Americans love their dogs, they're(the dogs lol) mostly
allowed everywhere and are really tame.~ Timesquare
Oh yes, not forgetting the Apple Store (paiseh lijia), Trump Towers and more

The Apple Store , very humbly placed in between
two tall buildings. Instead of competiting for height,
it justs goes it own way, downwards - similar to the Louvre in Paris.

I like the trip back to my brother's apartment

About an hour plus drive from New York (I think)
is where my bro brought us to go shopping for branded goods.
Its where I bought my orange converse shoes! =) haven't,
seen a pair in Sg just yet. Godiva there is really really cheap
too, its such a ripoff here in sg. I think girls will go crazy here
Love the dangerous looking clouds at Woodbury, it rained
soon after we stopped shopping.sweetie heres the maple leaf i was talkin about =)
it broke on the way back =( ~

very messy dirty and wet place,

the few precious hours in japan
02 - O lil' town of Narita

With just a few hours left for transit, my rents and i
rushed from the plane to the train station to
catch a train to get into Narita city for some fresh air.

It was around 6plus a.m when we reached Narita town and
school kids were already on the way to school- quite similar
to our school timings back here in sg- but the weather is
1000times more superb! (ok enough of that)
most of them walk to school in addition to
taking trains, but some rode bicycles.

Its funny how they all have the same cool bag.
On my previous trip, I saw a catalog from
a school which featured these similar bags for the
students to purchase, and they're not cheap.

My dad said "Good morning!" to them, they were smiling and
giggling when they replied him with their limited english-
cute little people.

We walked and walked, most shops were not opened yet,

including the Jet-Lag club for laggers like us lol, but
we decided to visit the local temple since we had time.

I love clean little cozy alleys like this;

Simple things like colourful flowers along
planted in pots along the street + the road sign in
a flower shape and friendly green makes the place a
whole lot more welcoming and comfortable- not to mention
the weather and fresh air again!

Needed a refill before continuing the long walk

Amongst the traditional temples/houses theres
always a vending machine within reach, selling
almost everything, ranging from drinks to food to ice cream
to cigerettes...etc.

The classic bicycles with baskets in the front are
simple and good classic looking- we could buy them
from Bugis's Muji but they don't sell them anymore.The temple, one of the tourist places I guess.if you enlarge this photo of the dragon below,

was that the people here had a more country lifestyle,
and everything was more slow moving for them-
as compared to the numerous salarymen rushing to work

Our limited time was running out and
we had to rush back to the airport for our trecherous remaining 13hr flight
to JFK airport, u.s.a, so we took a ride on the local tour mini-tram
that makes its rounds around the little town of Narita for tourists like us.

i'm guessing this is some really olden-day map of an area of Narita town

That concludes my brief experience with Narita,
I'm quite amazed that Narita was actually a man-made
island and how they japanese managed to make it
into like any other small town they had existing
in japan, the styles of the streets and buildings were
so similar.

The short pitstop at Narita village was worthwhile,
I rather be tired and walk around getting to explore
and experience a place I haven't experienced before than
be stuck in DFS.

my photo-intensive journey starts here,
01 - SkySo here's the start to my interesting journey
in the united states. I had to skip a week+
of classes to go on this trip for my bro's wedding
- at first I was thinking how the workload
would be like when I get back.. brought my
laptop and stuff to do work with, just like a chao mugger.My brother has been in New York for a few years now.
It feels like its been a long time since I last saw him, but according to photos,
he hasn't grown bigger after being fed with american food.

Its a 20+ hour flight from Singapore to USA,
luckily for us, we had a little stop over at Narita, Japan-
its what I was more excited about, as compared
to the trip to the US. =DSee the little line of flakes there?
They look like snowflakes (enlarge photo), its -40˚C
on the otherside of the glass, so I'm guessing they're
baby snowflakes which are still forming,
but then again, i'm not scientist.

I like JAL because.. of the food?

The service is good (they understand my pieces
of broken japanese words strewn together) and
Skytime Yuzu is a good JAL drink, plus
I got upgraded to Premium Economy on the way
back home- I could stretch my legs!
I remember on the flight from Perth,
Dan woke me up to point out some stuff outside
the window. It was pitch black as it was already
quite late at night , but as I stared out, I could see
a bunch of lightning in the distance- like a light show
in that blackness with huge clouds as the backdrop.
Its hard to describe, it was beautiful.

Some things are only possible to be experienced through our eyes.
ROYAL milk tea plantations? hahhahahaI always joked that, if I had the funds, I would goto Japan
to have lunch and then come back.. but I didn't expect myself
to really stop over at my favourite place in the world just for
a few hours- for real.

We arrived at an unearthly hour of 6am.

The Barber of Balestier by Jeremy Chua

Some of you may know that I've been working
on a project for one of my modules in school, "4D design & time".

(well if you don't , here's the lil' background)
Well, a few weeks back we were asked to visit a place
in Singapore which we haven't visited before and
have a story with a character in it - the medium can be
almost anything from an art installation to a performance to a book,
after asking around, i took my dad's suggestion on
visiting Balestier and visited the area on my own.
To cut it short, I found many many many interesting things and people
in that space (PLS VISIT the place if you're free! I'll happily be your tourguide),
and decided to do a short photo/film on the barber that I met.

thoughts 'bout the barber...

What struck me about that barber was that,
he had a family to feed, and he
and his wife were able to do it
with their current jobs
-it doesn't take a millionaire to raise a family.
I wonder how did they live, how did his sons cope,
how did his wife cope..
well, he seemed happy.
That's what mattered most I guess,
being happy, being content.

thoughts about school...

In poly, we used to do shortfilms but we were
given weeks to finish an assignment. I had to rush
this one in 3days including interviews,
photos and post production without a team
as I had many other projects going on.

In otherwords, I'm still trying to cope with
the workloads and not being able to meet
aud and the rest of the supper gang often
when I'm being flooded with work,
but through God's grace, I've been pulling through.

I guess thats the difference in uni, haha.
I never regretted going to the polytechnic,
the experiences I had there are priceless,
the people I met there are unforgettable.

I guess to me, what really matters is not where
or what you study, the process is what's important,
the people, the memories, the things you gain from it.

Mid-Autumn Pyro Festivallalallalalala

Before doing any U.S trip photo-intensive posts
(waiting for dan to create his batch image uploading program),
i'll update on saturday's mid-autumn festival celebration thingy,
think we shld do this every year - but with food, drinks
and an earlier meeting time the next time round.

Even though Chinese Garden didn't have any events planned
this year, like last year's hello kitty lantern thingy, there
were still lotsa ppl following the tradition of goin there to
~~burn lanterns and throw sparklers into the water~~
light lanterns, take photos and mingle.Luckily aud and i brought lotsa lanterns and some sparklers
for everyone, we went shopping at giant for these lol.

After playing with the lanterns and sparklers,
dan and sam could'nt control their powers and
everything they touched literally lit up!hot news for hawt people ending with a jump shot.
wonder who started the jump shots, or was in a thing we always knew about? hmm

Summer Matsuri 2009This year's summer matsuri was quite mild.
We went there to eat the food and for the dancing,
but i guess there was lotsa stuff on my mind-
mainly work haha stressed.
I think i'm suffering from a little fatigue,
yesterday i wanted to do my work,
but i ended up sleeping the whole
afternoon and last night
i almost blacked out (thats another story)
Went with the same ol' gang but additional kai qing, stan, aaron and brian.
The crowd was crazy, there were so many people... i bet more than half were
Singaporeans haha including us, "You have to wait - long time"
Says the sign in front of a store, and wait-long-time we did.
Waited almost half an hour to buy some an pan panda

Dan drank asahi beer as usual while i managed
to find asahi milk tea!!!! zomg, its been
so long since i've drank asahi milk tea.
Its best bro.

The interesting thing to see at the festival
were all the people dressed in yukatas/kimonos
especially the cute little kiddos;

Felt quite lazy to shoot much hahaThey had their usual festival dance session thing haha,
ponyo's theme song was played in addition to all
the classic heritage songs haha.

Makes me miss japan again.. or a carefree life.
